If you want to access the Bluetooth power options but the Bluetooth Power management tab is missing on your Windows 10 PC, I will show you how to fix it.
With no power management tab on your Bluetooth device, you should disable “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” on another device on the Power Management to fix your lagging Bluetooth mouse, pen, or keyboard.
To diagnose and fix this issue, follow the steps below.
How to Fix Bluetooth Power Management Tab Missing on Windows
- Left-click on the Start Button and click on Device Manager.
- Now select Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R), then on the View tab and click on Devices by Connection:
- Now check under which device Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) is listed.
In this example, it is the Intel(R) USB 3.10 eXtensible Host Controller -1.10 (Microsoft) and the USB Root Hub (USB 3.0). - Now double-click on Intel(R) USB 3.10 eXtensible Host Controller -1.10 (Microsoft) to open it. On the Power Management tab, turn off “allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.
- Do the same on USB Root Hub (USB 3.0).:
Reboot your PC if needed. This should fix your Bluetooth issues.
If this solution doesn’t work for you, try to find which device is listed under your Bluetooth device on Device Manager, then go to the Power Management tab and turn off this device.
You can locate your Bluetooth device on Device Manager, then click on View > Devices by Connection, as shown in step 2.
For example:

As you can see, the Bluetooth Low Energy GATT is listed under the Logitech MX Master 3 mouse, so you should also double-click on it and disable “allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” to fix the lagging.
(If the turn-on button is often missing from your Bluetooth devices on Windows, check this article I’ve written on it. )
Conclusion
The Bluetooth Power Management tab is not missing on Windows, it is just located on another device. You can find it by going to the View tab on the Device Manager > Devices by Connection.
Find the devices listed over Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) and double-click on each. On the Power Management tab, disable “allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.
For example, Intel(R) USB 3.10 eXtensible Host Controller -1.10 (Microsoft) and USB Root Hub (USB 3.0).
As explained in the article, you can also disable the devices under your specific Bluetooth device in the Device Manager.
If this doesn’t work, your best bet is to update your device drivers. Check my article on how to update all your device drivers at once.
