How to Safely Uninstall Armoury Crate
As I said at the beginning of this article, it is ok to uninstall Armoury Crate, but since it is linked to your laptop’s BIOS or hardware components, make sure to use the uninstall tool provided by ASUS.
To safely uninstall Armoury Crate:
- Open the Armoury Crate Support website.
- Under Driver & Tools select your OS:
- Click on the Expand All button on the upper-right corner of Utilities: Armoury Crate:
- Looks for the Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool and download it:
- Extract the folder inside the zipped file you downloaded and run Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool.exe:
- Follow the wizard to complete the uninstallation.
If you need to reinstall it later, do the same steps above but look for the Armoury Crate Full Installation Package instead in step 4.
