There is this common issue where Bluetooth suddenly does not work on laptops or desktops with the Qualcomm QCA9377 wireless adapter, often on Dell PCs. The Bluetooth switch will disappear, making it impossible to turn on Bluetooth.
To fix this issue, turn off your laptop, then unplug the power cord from your laptop for 3 to 5 minutes; after that power on your laptop again and try to pair a Bluetooth device. If you are a desktop user, follow the same procedure by unplugging your power cable.
If this doesn’t work, go to the Device Manager and see if there is an “unknown USB device driver.”

In this case, try to right-click on the “unknown USB device driver” and uninstall it. Then shut down your PC and unplug the power cord, as explained above.
(If the Bluetooth Power management tab is missing on Windows when you try to access the Bluetooth power options, check the article I’ve written on it.)
If your Bluetooth still doesn’t work, try to update your Bluetooth drivers.
Fix Qualcomm QCA9377 Bluetooth Not Working by Updating Drivers
Outdated drivers often cause hardware devices, so it is always a good practice to update your drivers when you have Bluetooth issues.
You can update your drivers via Windows itself by using Windows Update or the Device manager, but Windows sometimes installs the wrong drivers, so I recommend you use a third-party driver updater.
- Download Driver Booster and install it on your PC.
I recommend you uncheck any box recommending you to install other programs unless you want to try them. - Open Driver Booster and click on the Scan button:
- Wait while the program scans your PC for outdated or missing drivers.
- When the scan is complete, press the Update button next to your Bluetooth device:
You can also check all devices on your PC and click on the Update Now button in the upper-right corner if you want to update all your drivers at once. - Wait for the Update to finish.
